Marko Penttinen has been appointed as the new CEO of Pyroll Pakkaukset Group Oy
Marko Penttinen will start as of 8th April 2024, as the new CEO of Pyroll Pakkaukset Group Oy (Pyroll Packaging Group), the leading provider of sustainable packaging solutions. Penttinen brings valuable leadership experience to the company, as he has broad experience in various industries, having served in several CEO positions since 2016.
Pyroll Packaging Group is the leading provider of sustainable packaging solutions for food and pharmaceutical industry as well as retail sector. Pyroll Packaging Group employs nearly 300 packaging industry professionals and in 2023, the company generated revenues of 67 million euros.
The CEO of Pyroll Packaging Group since 2019, Mika Lankila, has decided to pursue new challenges. Therefore, the company’s board of directors has appointed, as of 8th April 2024, Marko Penttinen (56), M.Sc. (Econ.), B.Sc. (Eng.) as the new CEO of the company. Marko Penttinen has served as the CEO of several companies and also in other various business development and leadership roles. He has extensive experience in leadership of people and businesses both in Finland and internationally.
