Pohjolan Energia Group appoints new CEO – Sami Leinonen to expedite company’s growth and international expansion

Pohjolan Energia Group, the market leader in small-scale solar energy systems in Finland, has appointed Sami Leinonen M.Sc. (Eng.) 46, as the new CEO of the Group.

Sami will move to Pohjolan Energia from his position as Managing Director of Mondi Örebro AB – bringing his strong experience of international business development and management to the company. Before Mondi, he worked e.g. in several positions in the UPM Group, including Director of Paper Business Europe at UPM Raflatac and at Honkarakenne Plc as Vice President responsible for the business in  Finland and Baltics.

Lasse will focus on managing the Group’s Finnish business in the future.
