Pohjolan Energia Group strengthens its Board of Directors
Pohjolan Energia Group, the leading small-scale solar energy system provider in Finland, has strengthened its Board of Directors. Veli-Matti Heikkinen and Jukka Nieminen have been invited to be new members of the Board of Directors. Vesa Keränen, Partner at MB Funds, will continue as Chairman of the Board. The other Board members are Pekka Koskelo, one of the company’s founders, and Kimmo Vanne, Partner at MB Funds.
Veli-Matti Heikkinen is a professional board member of long experience with a strong entrepreneurial background. Veli-Matti is the founder and long-serving CEO of Mockfjärds Fönster AB, a leading provider of window and door solutions to consumer market. He has solid experience of the Swedish consumer market, and he will bring to Pohjolan Energia comprehensive strategic and operational expertise in the development of sales and consumer business.
Jukka Nieminen is CEO of the technology company Beneq Oy, and has strong experience of the solar energy business and the development and internationalisation of technology and service companies. Jukka has served e.g. as CEO of Finland’s first solar energy company, Naps Systems, and as CEO of Kaukomarkkinat Oy, where he successfully established company’s solar energy business.
