MB Funds accelarates growth and international expansion of Pohjolan Energia Oy

Finnish private equity investor MB Funds becomes partner and majority shareholder of Pohjolan Energia Oy to support company’s growth and international expansion. The current owners continue in key management roles and as significant shareholders in the company.

Pohjolan Energia is the leading small-scale solar energy system provider in Finland. The company operates nationwide and provides rooftop solar energy systems as a turnkey solution through its 15 sales offices. Pohjolan Energia employs today more than 150 solar energy professionals and has reached €20 million net sales level.
