MB Funds to sell Mainio Vire Oy to HgCapital

The funds managed by MB Funds have together with the other owners sold the largest Finnish social care services company Mainio Vire Oy to the British private equity investor HgCapital. Mainio Vire’s management continues as owners in the company.

During the ownership period of MB Funds, Mainio Vire Oy (formerly Medivire Hoiva Oy) has grown from a start-up business into the leading Finnish social care services company with net sales exceeding 60 million euros in the current year and with over 1,000 employees.

The new owner is a European private equity investor with a strong emphasis on healthcare and care sector.
