Strong professional expertise to TietoAkseli’s Board of Directors – Pekka Pajamo, M.Sc. (Econ.), appointed to member of the Board

Finnish accounting services company, TietoAkseli Group, has appointed Pekka Pajamo, M.Sc. (Econ.), to its Board of Directors to bring strong experience for the company’s professional services’ management and the development of financial administration and accounting services.

Pekka Pajamo has worked as a CFO of Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company since 2012. Pekka worked in KPMG Oy Ab in 1988-2012. He got Authorized Public Accountant certification in 1993 and he worked in KPMG as partner, member of management team and member of the Board of Directors. Pekka has a long experience of financial administration in various companies and operating environments as well as in different stages of companies’ lifecycle. In addition to TietoAkseli, Pekka serves in the boards of Leino Group, Ahlström Capital, Arek Oy, Finnish National Opera and Ballet, and Finnish National Theater. Since 2006 Pekka has been a member of the National Audit Committee that operates independently under Finnish Patent and Registration Office and he serves as the Chairman of the committee in the term of 2019-2021.

In the transaction closed in May 2021, private equity company MB Funds became the majority owner of TietoAkseli and Kimmo Vanne from MB Funds serves as the Chairman of the Board. The other board members are Jussi Salminen, Partner at MB Funds, Mikko Akselin, the founder of TietoAkseli, and Pekka Pajamo, CFO at Varma.
