Makua Foods Oy acquires Arho Nordic Oy

Henrik Hemmilä has sold Arho Nordic Oy to MB Funds, a Finnish private equity investor, and to the management group of Makua Foods Oy. The transfer of ownership will occur on 27.2.2015 when Arho Nordic´s name will be changed to Green Taste Oy.

Arho Nordic Oy is a growing Finnish family-owned company that specialises in food processing, importing and representation. The company represents the following brands; Myrttisen Kurkut cucumber, Green Taste and Mistral nuts, Memmas Knossos olive oil, Sicilia lemon juice,  Pappagallo ice-cream, Mehuiza juice and smoothies, and MR. Fruit fresh wholesale.

The current Arho Nordic businesses Hedelmäpalvelu (Fruit service) and Scan Tree Ltd will be excluded from the transaction.

Makua Foods Oy started in 2014 by acquiring the Finnish family-owned company, Makulaku Lakritsa Oy,and its sales companies in Porvoo. Makua Foods is also an importer for the Danish company OK Snacks A/S.
