The fund\u2019s investors are mainly MB\u2019s existing investors or otherwise well-established partners of the organisation \u2013 mostly pension institutions and other insurance companies. The fundraising process was unusually fast and the fund was oversubscribed by existing investors alone.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The new fund follows in the footsteps of MB Funds\u2019 earlier investment strategy. The fund targets established businesses that show potential for growth and ability to participate in consolidation processes both in Finland and abroad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d<em>We focus on developing and growing the businesses. On average, enterprises owned by MB Funds have seen their sales and staff doubling during our ownership. Working in close partnership with the management is another cornerstone in the way we operate<\/em>\u201d, says<strong> Juhani Suomela<\/strong>, Managing Partner at MB Funds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MB Funds\u2019 earlier investments include Inspecta, Panda, A-Inspection, Medivire Ty\u00f6terveyspalvelut, Suomen Gallup and Engel, amongst others.
