Owners of Dieta Oy have sold all shares (100%) to a company founded by Finnish private equity investor MB Funds. Contract was signed on January 22nd, 2015, ownership was changed on February 10th, 2015.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dieta Oy has four daughter companies: Dietatec Oy, Coffeeplace Oy, Dieta AS and Assi AS. Dieta Oy owns majority of the daughters.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dieta Oy manufactures, imports and markets professional kitchen equipment, tabletop products, maintenance and\u00a0 technical services primarily to restaurants and hotels, and in the public sector to educational units and hospitals. The company has established a strong market position in Finland with nationwide sales and service network, and a comprehensive product and service offering in equipment, tabletop and maintenance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dietatec Oy manufactures professional kitchen equipment, with exports to over 20 countries. Of its products, the Mixer kettle is the most prominent: equipped with unique features like rapid cooling, fully automated user programs and integrated scale, the Mixer kettle is a core unit in any modern cook-chill kitchen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Coffeeplace Oy designs and delivers complete turnkey projects for restaurants and offices. Wide variety of imported coffee machines, various types of beverage and food serving equipment as well as ice cream machines are included into the concepts created by Coffeeplace.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dieta AS and Assi AS are based in Estonia. Dieta AS markets with similar product, accessories and service offering as Dieta Oy. Assi AS produces structures, conveyors and various types of trolleys made of stainless steel. Assi exports to all Nordic countries. Its products are used in both professional kitchens as well as in medical sector.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dieta Group has a total turnover of ca. 33,0 million euros and some 150 employees.<\/span><\/p>\n

Juhani J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4<\/strong> (49) is appointed as CEO and Managing Director of the new company. He has been working at Dieta Oy since 1994. His latest position was Managing Director. J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4 will also become a minority owner in the new company.<\/span><\/p>\n
