MB Funds has sold Debora, a Finnish home care service provider, to Mehil\u00e4inen in a transaction signed on 7th December 2021. Debora\u2019s child welfare services businesses are not included in the transaction, and continues its operations as Debora Lapsiperhepalvelut Oy.<\/p>\n
Debora is a nationwide provider of social and health care services and provides services mainly in customers\u2019 own homes all of Finland. Debora operates through 16 regional units in approximately 60 municipalities and employs over 1500 professionals. The sold entity includes businesses related to home care of elderly and people with disabilities, personal assistance, physiotherapy, personnel staffing, and cleaning services. Businesses included in the transactions generate revenue of approximately \u20ac25 million in 2021.<\/p>\n
After the transaction, all the employees of Debora continue their work as before with the existing conditions of employment. In addition, services for customers continue as before in all operations of Debora. Debora becoming a part of Mehil\u00e4inen enables the customers to benefit from more a comprehensive service offering that is also further developed.<\/p>\n
