Finland\u2019s leading vehicle damage inspection and collision repair service provider Suvia Group has appointed Jens Jensen (47) as the CEO of the group as of 1 September 2020. Jens Jensen succeeds Kari Kivikoski who will focus on managing MB Funds\u2019 other portfolio company A-Katsastus Group.<\/p>\n
Jens Jensen has strong experience in leading service and insurance related businesses. Prior to Suvia Group, he acted as the Senior Vice President at Suomen Terveystalo Oy where he was responsible for the corporate business line. He has also broad experience in banking and insurance sectors.<\/p>\n
Suvia Group consists of Finland\u2019s leading collision repair company InCar Oy, insurance related damage inspection services provider Suomen Vahinkotarkastus SVT Oy and A-Test & Consulting Oy providing variety of car industry workshop maintenance, quality and training services. The Group is a unique combination of 24\/7 vehicle damage advisory, damage inspection expertise and a nationwide collision repair chain. Group\u2019s revenue totalled to 64 million euros in 2019, while employing 450 professionals in over 50 locations across Finland.<\/p>\n
In 2019 MB Funds acquired A-Katsastus Group\u2019s damage inspection and collision repair services as a stand-alone business entity of which Suvia Group was formed. MB Funds also acquired A-Katsastus\u2019 statutory vehicle inspection, registration and drivers\u2019 examination services, which will continue under the previous name as a separate company. Until now, Kari Kivikoski has been responsible for leading both groups.<\/p>\n
A-Katsastus Group acquired Suomen Vahinkotarkastus SVT Oy (founded in 1992) in 2014 and a majority share of InCar Oy (founded in 1991) in 2017.<\/p>\n
